These Terms govern your use of the ChessMate web and mobile applications ("Service"), provided by Wolf Technologies Ltd ("Wolf Technologies", "we"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
ChessMate provides online chess gameplay, puzzles, ratings, analysis, and optional premium features available via subscription. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
ChessMate offers Gold, Platinum, and Diamond subscription tiers, each available monthly or annually (Diamond also offers a lifetime option).
Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policy (reportaproblem.apple.com). Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
The ChessMate name, logo, code, and content are owned by Wolf Technologies or its licensors. Chess opening databases and puzzle datasets used by the Service may be derived from public-domain or open-licensed sources (e.g. Lichess CC0 data) and are subject to their original licences.
You retain ownership of game moves and chat messages you contribute. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, and display this content as needed to operate the Service.
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from bugs, or specific game-play outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wolf Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
